Description
===========
A patch to allow everyone to use both Helms Deep and Unique Landscapes Arrius Creek MODs.
Note that you still need to download Helms Deep and Arrius Creek separately. Links are available in the Requirements section.

Details
=======
Helms Deep adds the entire fortress of Helms Deep, The Shire and a burned down village to the game, each in a different location of Cyrodiil. Arrius Creek overhauls the landscape north and west of Cheydinhal, primarily introducing a long-flowing river.
Unfortunately, using both mods together has disastrous consequences for the fortress of Helms Deep itself (The Shire and burned village are not affected) - you'll either have Helms Deep mostly buried underground, or else you'll have massive land tears to the west and south of the fortress, depending on your load order. You'll also have many floating rocks, and a section of the river from Arrius Creek will disappear.

This patch repairs the land tears, smooths out the land height, restores most of the river, unburies the fortress, and grounds the floating rocks and trees. The river from Arrius Creek now flows underground just above the fortress, and can now be considered the same waterflow which tumbles down the rocks in the outer courtyard of Helms Deep (the water which flows under the walls which the Orcs blew up in the film Lord of the Rings). This waterflow then reconnects with the Arrius Creek river immediately outside the fortress walls.

I highly recommend using a program such as Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) or Wrye Bash to adjust load order.
My install instructions will assume you are using OBMM or Wrye Bash, but I expect other load-order programs function the same.

Install
=======
1. Copy the .esp file to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
2. Start OBMM/Wrye Bash, place a checkmark beside the .esp file.
3. Adjust load order as follows:
01_Helms_Deep.esp
02_Helms_Deep.esp
03_Helms_Deep.esp
xulArriusCreek.esp
HelmsDeep-ArriusCreek patch.esp

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the .esp file from \Oblivion\Data\

Incompatibility
===============
Should only be incompatible with other MODs which conflict with Helms Deep in this location.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
None that I know of relating to this patch.
Note that the original mod Helms Deep did not have pathgrids placed within its walls, so I have not attempted to create any myself. They'd be useless anyway without placing subspaces (if you're a modder, this should make sense) at various locations throughout the fortress, which I haven't done, as I'm merely making two mods work together, not attempting to provide an update to Helms Deep.
